Eligibility

Open to all UT Dallas students (undergraduate or graduate) currently enrolled for Fall 2025.

Teams may consist of 1–4 members.

Participants must have a valid .edu email and submit original work developed during the hackathon period.

Mods using pre-built assets or libraries are allowed if properly credited.

Only one submission per team.
Project and Submission Requirements
Your submission must include:

Demo Video (2–3 min) – Showcase the mod in action, highlighting its purpose and features.

GitHub Repository with:

Source code (public or invite-only link)
-
README file with setup/build instructions, mod description, Minecraft + Forge/Fabric version, and team info

Runnable Build (.jar file) compatible with Minecraft 1.21.x

Screenshots or concept art showing the development process

Team details: member names, NetIDs, and roles
Prizes
1st Place - Major role at UTD Club of your choice + Access to Private Chat
2nd Place - Major role at UTD Club of your choice
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Judges will be Aryaman Tomer and criteria is based on some combination of this:
| Creativity & Originality | 30% | How unique and innovative is the concept? |
| Technical Execution | 25% | Code quality, stability, use of mod APIs, and optimization. |
| Gameplay & Engagement | 25% | Fun factor, polish, and overall player experience. |
| Presentation & Documentation | 15% | Clarity of demo, README, and submission quality. |
| Relevance/Theme Fit | 5% | Alignment with hackathon theme (UTD + Minecraft). |
